English 10--Thursday, December 13

Objective: How does the play differ from the movie? (12 Angry Men)

1- Students were given 20 minutes to work on their character map--this is due next time. (Monday, December 17

2-Students shared their Found Poems with each other. --each student had to read his or her poem to five other students.

3- Went over upcoming class changes--students need to understand that they will be receiving more reading homework and working with a student teacher.

Objective: What are the effects of masks on humanity?

1- Took symbols quiz
2- Group discussion--if absent, print of the following questions and complete on your own.

4- Apply it to the real world--look at examples  (Harry Potter, Hitler, KKK, Facebook)

In Class prompt--due in your binder with other prompts?
"How does facebook function as a modern day mask?" --If absent, do on your own in binder. This will be collected at the end of term 2.

Homework:
You will be interview the following characters: Ralph, Jack, Simon, Piggy, Roger, The Naval Officer
You need to type three questions for each character (18 total)
You do NOT need to answer the questions but rather focus on asking good, thoughtful questions. 

All Late work due on Friday!!!
