6- Watch "Tangled" video clip. What technique is the mother using? Pathos. Why? She uses fear to keep Repunzel in the tower. Do we like her? No! Does Pathos work? Yes. Is it always ethically correct? Not always.
7- Go through the rest of the scenarios--students must come up with logical arguments. AVOID PATHOS!!!
