Objective: How do people gain power in the world? And how is this seen thus far in Fahrenheit 451?

Read the first 20 minutes- I was absent  so plan on taking a quiz next time from pages 63-130

EachEach group should use the ideas they already wrote in their one page paper to drive this assignment—

Each group must answer how people gain power in the world using at least 5 concrete examples—these need to be written down on a piece of paper and explained with a minimum of 4 sentences for each example

Each group should have at least 3 visual aids to show during their presentation-(they can use the white computer paper from behind my desk and the crayons from the front of the room)

Each group should find no less than 10 quotes from the reading thus far to support their claims about how power is seen in Fahrenheit 451. These quotes need to be written on a separate piece of paper WITH the page number.

Each group member needs to participate and plan which part of the presentation (about 4-5 minutes total—they will present)

Each group will be ready with the following things on Monday—

·               5 examples showing how power is gained in the real world.

·               3 visual aids

·               10 quotes from the novel showing how power is gained through Fahrenheit 451

·               A plan of who will give which part of the presentation
