What we did in class today:
1- Took Quiz on chapters 1 through 5 and turned in homework
2- Handed out late passes

4- Reviewed the history of Apartheid and discussed how that plays into both the novel and the movie "Invictus"
5- As a class, analyzed important quotes, characters, themes, ideas from chapters 1through 5 of Novel.
6-Watched first 27 minutes of "Invictus"
7-As a class, analyzed important quotes, characters, themes, ideas from the first 27 minutes.
I gave each student a graphic organizer to keep track of any in-class analysis we do on both the novel and the movie. You can either pick one up from me (it's pink) or you can print one off here to get any notes missed from a friend. See below for link:
