Objective--Why did the Transcendentalists value solitude?
1- We went over the big assignment due on Thursday, November 21. This is a portfolio that include five different components. See Mrs. Jaynes for handout.
2- Students discussed the value of solitude and watched a video entitled, "how to be alone."
3- Students spent the remainder of the period reading "Solitude and Leadership." Students were graded on their ability to read, annotate, and summarize the essay in 40 minutes.
Homework: Begin working on your transcendental portfolio.
