Some people believe there are
benefits to breaks from school.
Many parents agree that students need a real break from schoolwork over
their winter break. Teachers argue
that students will fall behind in their work if they don’t study during winter
break. Should teachers be allowed to assign work over winter break or not?
Should schools ban junk food and soft drink vending machines on school
property?
Because of the recent discussion about Americans struggling
with obesity, many schools are coming up with ways to help promote good health
among their students. Your school is considering getting rid of all vending
machines that sell junk food and soda. Should they do this or not?
