Objective--How do I effectively insert quotes in my position paper?

What we did in class today:
1. Read the first 15 minutes of class. This time was also used to redo the assignment from the previous day. This time was also used to finish that assignment.

2. We learned how to effectively insert quotes...the quote sandwich!

3. We reviewed how to introduce quotes using paraphrasing. Remember, you only quote the most essential part of the bigger picture.

Homework: Using your articles regarding AP classes, practice the quote sandwich. Write a claim. Support that claim with a properly introduced quote. Explain HOW that quote proves your claim. This is due at the beginning of class Friday.
