Here's what we did today:
1- Took a quiz on chapter 5
2- Discussed the following quote: " A Man nor a crowd nor a nation can be trusted to act humanely or to think sanely under the influence of fear." Bertrand Russell
3- Watch three clips from "Scare Tactics" to look for examples of people doing strange things because of fear.
4- Discuss how Jack uses the boys' fear to take over as the leader.
5- In partnerships, students found examples to support the claim "Jack uses the boys' fear to take over as leader." They must find examples and then analyze HOW those examples prove the claim. If you were absent, this must be made up within ONE WEEK. (10 points)
