Objective: How do I write a lit. analysis?
We looked at an example essay that received an A. Student read the essay and took notes explaining what worked well in the paper.

Next, we compiled a class list of do's and don'ts when writing a lit. analysis.
Finally, we looked at the difference between Facts and Claims and determined that all Thesis specific topic sentences should be claims.

Homework: Pretend you are interviewing the following characters: The Naval Officer, Jack, Ralph, Piggy, Simon, and Roger. Come up with three good questions that you would ask each character. (18 questions total) This assignment must be typed.
